Cowles Royal Readers

The Cowles Royal Readers participated in the Iowa Children’s Choice Challenge at Des Moines Public Downtown Library on Tuesday, February 25th.  The students who participated were Mary McFetridge, Cait Kruse, Natalie Moorhead, Lydia Johnston, Audrey Myers, and Daniel Pradovich.  They worked as a team to read all 25 books on the list of Iowa Children’s Choice Award list and create a poster board about the books.  The students included a summary and rating for each of the books.  Teams from all over the district competed by taking a test about the books.  The Royal Readers earned the highest score overall and finished the competition in first place.  They worked very hard and did a great job!
