State Middle School B.O.B. Champion

On Tuesday, March 25th   two teams from Cowles Montessori school advanced to the semi-final and final rounds of the State Middle School B.O.B. competition held at Simpson College. There were a total of 76 teams that participated in the program with 12 teams advancing on to the semi-final/final rounds of the competition. The top two scoring teams on a written test entered into the grand battle in a round of oral questions with short answer responses. In between rounds students were taken on a  tour of Simpson College. Cowles had two teams: The Red Team: “Out of the Pages” and Team Blue: “Sweetly Awkward Book Readers

 

Team Red made it to the final round and Battled Lynnville-Sully School. They came in 1st place! Team Blue came in 12th place. The winners received a large trophy, gift cards to Barnes and Noble. Cowles will receive a set of books for next year’s B.O.B. competition. I attached a photo of the team! Way to go Cowles!!
