Preprimary Classroom News

May is an exciting and busy time for the pre-primary classes at Cowles Montessori.  We are preparing for a field trip to the zoo, which will be a culmination of our year-long zoology themes.  The students have been learning about mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects, fish, and birds throughout the 2014-2015 school year.  The field trip to Blank Park Zoo will be a perfect way to end the year and celebrate the knowledge learned about the animals they have studied.  The pre-primary students are also studying parts of a seed, which will lead us into planting in our school gardens.  You will find us enjoying the nice weather and learning from nature this spring!
