Nothing like a little yoga for a healthy mind and body. That’s just what was in store yesterday for 28 Cowles Montessori students competing in the Live Healthy Iowa Kids Wellness Challenge. The challenge ended Friday, and students celebrated with a yoga lunch and learn session. Thanks to school nurse Robin Delury for coordinating the initiative. At DMPS, we work to ensure that students are receiving a great education in schools that are not only first-rate learning environments, but are also safe and secure. Over the years DMPS has taken many steps to better ensure the safety and well being of our students, staff, parents and visitors.
