Upper Level Classroom NewsThe Upper Elementary team just held their Interest Fair on Friday, October 3rd!  The students pick a topic they are interested in and do research on it.  They also make a poster and share their research to their fellow students, teachers, and parents.  Some students even came in costume!  Their topics covered many different topics.  Here are just a few examples of subjects covered:  Human Rights in North Korea, Pompeii, Origami, Hummus, Food Coloring, The Muppets, The History of Television, Ballet and many studied different types of animals.   We are always amazed at the wide range of interests and the quality of the projects our students put together for this annual event!

The Sixth graders are putting together a night of family fun for Friday, October 31st from 6:00-7:30.  They are organizing a “Fantabulous Fun Night” that will take place in conjunction with Cowles Trunk-or-Treat night.  Be prepared for a night of gamPiggyes, pizza, and candy that helps raise money for the 6th graders annual overnight trip to the Y-Camp in the spring!
